Fad Surfing at CVX

It's clear that Fad Surfing has had a huge negative impact on Chevron. From Safety, to Efficiency, down to our bottom line. Will we ever stop?

The core problem with BCG, or McKinsey, or .... is that management told them from the get-go that the "problem" was with the employees, rather than the management. Their concluding reports always focused on "re-educating" the workers rather than changing management approach.

Went through several BCG "interventions". In their defense, management only let them "interview" other management and high-pots. No wonder they developed a warped sense of the Company's operations.

Who is the BCG consultant who would sleep through entire meetings, then wake up at the last-minute waving his arms around and saying crazy stuff that he thought sounded good?

Not as long as MW, RM, and their minions are in control of the company.
