Your end date is 6/6? That means 9 months from now not 2?
Lord, please let me get laid off
What about performance award grants? Are those included in the severance package or only RSUs?
this severance is similar to what i got in September- my best advice is move on from T-Mo but never close the door. i would work for them again but not until at least a year...
Same as engineering team
Here is how my severance worked:
6 months base pay.
Prorated bonus.
RSU stock immediately vested rather than waiting until February.
Long term tenured lump sum - which was 1% a year for every year 20 or above. (example: 22 years of service = lump sum of 22% of base pay).
I was kept on payroll without working and with insurance for 68 days from being laid off. I continued to accrue PTO during that time.
After that 68 days TMO paid my first 2 months of COBRA.
All accrued PTO was paid on the last paycheck.
The next payday after that I got the the 6 months / The partial bonus / long term tenured employee payment
The RSU had been vested a week or two before the severance lump sum.
The severance package math was described on OneVoice
T-Mobile has standard terms for severance packages.
You get 60 days of salary from date of notice to basically work on trying to get another job. (This is why there's no WARN notices). Accelerated Vesting of that year's RSUs. Lump sum payout of PTO. Lump sum Severance equal to 8 weeks of salary plus two weeks for each year of service, up to 26 weeks total. So once you get to 9 years of service, you cap out at 26 weeks. Prorated Bonus. Outplacement Services based upon your employment level.
Same for me in Digital.
And - prorated 2023 bonus, long term employee bonus, outplacement services, pto to be paid out.
