This is the way.
As crazy as it might sound, I am SO HAPPY of being back to Industry-even with a big pay cut. Having a normal, fully remote job, with no more than 40 hours per week is a bless. I've been able to retake my old hobbies, spend much more time with family & friends, forget about work-related travel, and forget about putting together endless proposals and meet crazy customer timelines. There is no bench, no stress due to upselling or looking for my next project. Yes, still a few @55h@les at some key management levels, but nothing like working with Accenture Directors or VPs. Freedom feels... great!!
