I bet GM wishes they had those wasted billions in the bank now
So the billions desperately spent on stock buybacks have done nothing.
Just a waste of money.
GM stock has averaged in the 30s/share for 13 years and pays a 1% dividend. Pathetic performance actually. Not sure why anyone would buy it. No growth and tiny dividends…
Cutting employees will not sell cars or make the stock more attractive. It certainly won’t help the struggling EV program along. The writing is on the wall when you look at sales dropping, high interest rates and high repossessions.
GM stocks are worth about the same as they were in 2014 $34 when Mary Barra took over as CEO as they are now
Some slight differences here and there.

" Just give us some American companies like Tesla."
What do you think we are working on, tractors?
Uninformed trolls are everywhere in these threads. Bitter people with no lives throwing rocks at glass houses.
They are adding more staff just not in USA. They are just sending engineering offshore in name of EVs.
I would like GM and Ford leave Michigan and take Union with you. Just give us some American companies like Tesla.
I have an offer from a supplier already. Blessing in disguise
I am going to take the package. Why not, free money
Hey Randy, shouldn't you be tending to your bison farm or whatever the he-l you were actually doing the whole time?
