Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Humiliated Already?

I would like to see the face of the arrogant manager because of whom I left GM. I am really so happy this happened. That toxic culture needed to be disbanded. God is great!

The review process is just a way to remove the people who don't tow the line or aren't part of the popular crowd. If you have a contrary opinion, or point out flaws in the logic, or ask too many questions then you become a liability to be addressed. The problem is some of these management types want the "yes" people around and don't like being challenged. So let the shenanigans continue.

The Director that let me go 4 years ago got the axe on Feb 28th. Meanwhile they hired me back 3 years ago and I got promoted on the same day. I guess what goes around comes around. I still feel a little bad for that Director though. 😕

Not really if it's anything like 2019 layoffs they'll keep the a-s kissing managers, those that are recent hires are put in a bad spot because they're not eligible for the offer and are prime to be terminated
