Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Top Heavy Vernova

Scot seems all excited about his new leadership team but what exactly are we doing? Is the Chief People Officer the same as HR leader? And what happens to Kelly & the others who were SMO'ed, once the separation is completed??

Definitely top heavy and wholly inept at their jobs. Vernova has a serious leadership issue.

Or wait, maybe we need more managers? Maybe three or four people to a manager instead of five. Ridiculous...

Chief People Leader? Human Resource Leader? no matter what you call it, GE has no regard for people or humans, unless of course they are executives who r(e)ape the benefits

Oh I agree he's overcompensated. No question about that.

Check his salary...he's making more than Immelt did in his last year....I hope there isn't much of a learning curve....

I'm pretty sure every job has a learning curve.

There shouldn’t be a learning curve for a CEO, you’re qualified or you aren’t. Isn’t that why they brought in Culp after Flannery went belly up? If he’s getting paid to do the job he should do it…..

Yes, chief people officer and HR Leader in this case are the same. But Scott needs big time help. He has never run a public company and he needs serious help. At lease Pete A had previous public company experience prior to taking on GE Healthcare.
