Courage in the face of defeat

It is making me sick my stomach. Truly just a number making UHG billions dollars. I lost my title, everything I was crawling up the latter for, now higher premiums, lost my exempt status, lost a weeks pay of which I have no idea how I am going to make up for, l feel lied too and all anyone says in leadership is our hands are tied…they are not tied just don’t want to push for what is right and all eyes go on you as the leader. I’m so upset that as a CEO Neil failed us but was he ever really on our side. Why do some departments get bonuses and like ours we do not..why isn’t a bonus company wide? We are facing hard times with massive inflation. Change Healthcare could have done something for us but the board and Executive team did not I assure you with their massive bonuses and stock options. It’s sickening and hope for their sake never have to wonder how their mortgage or light bill is going to be paid. Be honorable, be courageous but this is wrong. Do you know what could have been given if just even the CEO or CFO or board took a 15% reduction in salary/bonus? Everyone would have had a generous bonus but greed wins. Not in my life it won’t as soon as I can find something I’m out and never looking back.

No leadership, just a bunch of devil's, hoodlums, thieves, criminals getting big paychecks pretending to be important. Karma works wonders.....someday! But, they're being very thoughtful thinking how thoughtfully they can thoughtfully sc--w is over. Thoughtfully thought out this post.

Leadership will never read this, but this is exactly how I feel too. Resume has been sent out and I hope to not have to complete my merge to UHG next month.

I agree… debating even if I don’t find something if I want to put my two weeks notice in so I don’t even have to merge the week of April 9.

We all need to quit with without a second thought. Let leadership figure it out. This was a large orchestrated lie. ELT/SLTs made it seem like this deal was sunshine and rainbows. Those who were “loyal” get smoked as always. It never pays off. We are just a number, and they are just an employer.
