Equity ? Over used word . Accountability is a word I can get behind . No matter if your blue green algae .
It was mostly all men that got promotions this year. I don’t know if any women that did.
That’s been the criteria to move up: white women. Need to hit management % targets. The rest of you are wasting your time here.
The only white promotions were female, which checks the box for now. That is the only DEI inventory of significance that we have, but I expect that will only be a special class for another year or so. We now have he/him she/her selections, so there will be more equity soon. Just select the one that helps you the most at the time. All other promotions I know had higher melanin content.
So we should just promote now based on the color of our skin? The issue with that thinking is you can only be valuable if you check a non-white checkbox.
