Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Let's get things straight here. GM stands for Government Motors

The day General Motors went defunct was the same day they excepted the Obama Government Bailout Cash.

Being free from billions of debt from bankruptcy sure helps the bottom line. So many vendors and suppliers got royalty screwed. The contractors have been making it up ever since with ridiculous prices on projects that nobody at GM questions.

GM paid back the Tarp loan with Tarp cash. In other words, the taxpayers paid back the loan taxpayers gave to GM.

The US government literally owned a 60% stake in GM after the reorganization. The government, aka, the taxpayers lost over 11 billion dollars on the deal.

These are known and indisputable facts.

Shareholders from the old GM were left with nothing for their investments. Despite massive press and massive buybacks the stock in new GM still routinely reaches near IPO price from over twelve years ago.

Nice troll attempt but most people already know that GM was given a loan and that loan was paid back with interest. The government never owned GM.
Give it a rest.
