So each company lays off to show financial responsibility. Company A lays off and company B lays off. Each one opens up positions to fill what they laid off. Company A and Company B just ends up trading employees.
Each company claims we are saving money. The next two months each claim, everything is under control we are growing, see how many we hired.
As of now, I’ve applied for 4 positions. 1 a lateral move within Citi and the others outside of Citi. I have 2 interviews starting a week from tomorrow. I’m in a happy place chica.
