Canada closing begs the obvious question— what about the Manhattan flagship?
How unprofitable is it? How long can the company carry it?
I hope to see it this year, lunch there. How many of the (seven?) original restaurants are still open? That may be a useful indicator.
What do you think re store 212? Anyone heard any rumors?

I’m certainly not surprised to see North Shore (MA) on the list. In fact, I was shocked this store even reopened after COVID. Nordstrom must be riding out their lease. This was never a Nordstrom mall.
NYC flagship still indicates 7 restaurants. So no triage here like the consolidation of the separate Men’s store into #212.

As with the Canadians stores, doubtful it will make it a decade. At one point Paramus across the Hudson in Jersey was producing more volume prior to me leaving the company.
I can only speak about the northeast, however I’d be scared in these stores:
Menlo Park (NJ)
(I’m aware they have nyc distro on the 3rd floor, however the store is very dated and is one of the lowest producers)
North Shore (MA)
South Shore (MA)
