Will UPS offer another management buyout for operations employees? In 2018 and 2020 UPS offered management buyouts to non operational management employees. Management operations employees work long hours and many have died while working or shortly after they retired. These operations management employees are under a lot of stress daily. Ask UPS to offer remaining 55year old operations management employees a buyout. I really think ups want to fire older operational management employees. UPS already does not send them to any training classes and want them to train drivers who are 30 years younger

So disappointing... and disgusting.
I wasn't offered the 2020 buyout, but was part of the repackaged 2021 nonvoluntary separation. UPS wants to buy out as many of the currently employed people on the pension plan as possible. They will continue to offer buyouts until they are all retired or separated from the company.
It is unlikely UPS will offer buyouts to management in the operations because it is harder to replace these employees when the job cannot easily be sent overseas; this is what happened to many of the non-op management positions that were 'transformed'.
