Thank you, will read. I actually worked on some chunks of the Canada integration way back in the day.
Calgary was the first FLS, right? Chasing all that new hot money up there from the tar sands development.
And then Hongcouver and Toronto, more hot money flows, international kleptocracy and money laundering centers, stupid real estate bubbles. I thought BC would be fine, flashier than store 001, because all those New Canadians sure love a fashion label. Pure consumers, empty shells, utterly soulless NPCs.
But Canada is less wealthy than it thought, serious chickens returning to the roost this decade. Alberta probably survives.
