Zero gov't dollars for GF

Given all the outsourcing of staffing and reduction of US headcount, the US govt should be spending $0 yearly with GF. The US govt should be spending money with companies which are growing in the US instead of outsourcing.

As a taxpayer I don't want our money wasted paying for Non-US engineers. You need to write or email Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo about this. The Chips ACT money should recruit and develop American engineers, not foreign or H-1B engineers. I worked at another semiconductor company and from what I've seen they set higher minimum requirements for engineering jobs in America than they do for the same engineering job outside the US. They do this so they can hire H-1B instead of Americans for entry level engineering jobs. If semiconductor companies want taxpayer money they should focus on hiring and developing American engineers, not send our tax money to foreignors. It's funny that they companies in the US say you need a Masters or PHD degree in the US but yet require only a Bachelor degree outside the US. If you look at India jobs they start recruitment and hiring at B.Tech degrees (Bachelor of Technology) which is a similar curriculum and course of study to Engineering Technology from Devry.

I was shocked and angry to learn that late last year GF was busy hiring engineers in India whilst reducing headcount in US. I want my hard earned tax $ to be spent creating and protecting US jobs, not hiring staff overseas.

Yes exactly. They have teams examining just that.

The last thing they want to do is give US TAXPAYER money to a company who siphons it off or launders it and directs into the pockets of a different foreign government.

This money should be creating jobs, improving supply chain and advancing the technology. But GF has a track record of promising this and doing the opposite and depositing the money allocated for such activities into the bank accounts of Mubadala Investment Company. Globalfoundries track record on this matters speaks for itself. So we should anticipate getting none.
