I work at GA and I am an Uber driver. GA gives horrible raises and does not keep up with the cost of living. My rent has gone up 1000 bucks a month but my pay hasn’t gone up a 1000 a month. I would like to speak the truth and let people know the pay at GA sucks. I am looking for a new job and have promising leads but until then I am stuck.

I left GA two years ago and my current pay is 20% higher than what GA was paying me. The raises are awful and yet they had the audacity to ask when I gave notice "if there is anything they can do to keep me." Jump ship, work remote so you do not have to live in SD and barely squeak by financially; be happier.
GA gave pay adjustments to employees with skills that were underpaid. The workers who got pay adjustments are still underpaid but GA was scared of loosing them. If you didn’t get a pay adjustments your skills are it in demand and even GA isn’t scared of loosing you. It’s pretty cut and dry. Remember GA is known for employing the unemployable with outdated skills sets
Lies about that pay adjustment.
They ONLY gave that pay adjustments to certain technicians. Some techs didnt get sh-t so learn what comes out of that pie hole
Actually GA did just up our pay bc of inflation. Do you not work at GA? GA gave bumps bc they pay scale had gotten so behind industry standards people were fleeing the company. I think you are just use to cr---y 💰 pay
News flash, employers just don’t up your pay because of inflation. You have a mindset like that, continue job hopping!
I left GA three years ago and my current pay is 40% higher than what GA was paying me.
Many of my coworkers left and got pay increases that were comparable to my pay increase.
Most lifers at GA have no idea what good pay is… they are use to being paid nothing and just being happy they have a job bc their skills sets are so outdated. So it’s hard to take anything serious form a GA lifer - they don’t know what they don’t know
One persons says GA pays well…. Another person states GA paid so bad that they gave raises in an attempt to bring pay closer to industry standards… then another person states GA has always paid well…. So the last comment appears to be from an id--t who doesn’t even know what good pay is…. Off of GAs own policy it would appear they knew they underpaid and try to fix it… my question would be has it been fixed? Or is GA reverting to its old standard?
GA pays well. Neve pr had an issue with my pay at GA.
What about the salary adjustments GA did last year, did that help?
