The curbside thing is inaccurate. Two stores closing in my state have the green curbside check mark. One that has not been told they’re closing has the red x, even though they are still doing curbsides.

The best way to find out if your store is closing; Go outside; look up and if there’s a sign that reads Bed Bath and Beyond, then your store’s next.

Company is shutting down
I worked at Buy Buy Baby and we had curbside up until 4 days before we closed .
If you want to know if a store is closing, check the BBB website. When they decide to close a store they remove the curbside pickup option. Usually happens about a week or so before the official announcement.
I am sure at some point but ...
