Owed holiday/vaca pay

For those who have already been let go, when was your accrued holiday/vaca pay paid out? My store closed end of January. It was not included in my final check, my severance was paid out finally 2 weeks ago..this week would have been our next pay cycle, nothing was paid out. Just curious what's happened with others, as unemployment keeps asking me for this information

Has anyone from wave 2 gotten their separation agreement yet? It’s been a week and still waiting on mine.

I got two weeks pay for each year of service as severance. Full vacation/sick/holiday and personal days paid! Check with HR!

Sick and personal time you lose. Holidays and vacation time is to be paid out

You should be paid out for accrued VAC time, but not Sick or HOL. It needs to be entered manually. In my case the HRBP sent an adjustment to payroll and I received it off-cycle.

It sucks, but you need to use that HOL or lose it. They are essentially front-loaded into your accruals, but truly represent future milestone events with flex spending.

VAC is earned at an accrual rate based on actual hours worked.

It's kinda wonky. And again, somebody has to manually initiate this process. It's not automatic and decent chance it doesn't happen if you aren't chasing it down.

From NJ...was told from HR while still employed that any accrued vaca time and holidays would be paid out. It was also notated in the separation agreement. I just assumed that would be paid out in my final paycheck, or prior to receiving my severance..I'm sure I'll need to make some phone calls, but don't want to waste my time if others have experienced the same delay.

I was in the first wave! Rec. all vac., personal days, holiday”s even sick days in a check two weeks after signing! Got my last check also. Then I rec. eight weeks of severance more than what I made! Also had Cobra for three months! I really feel for all of you! It’s been a hard long Journey after 10 years of service! Finally coming out of it have landed a job. Make sure I accepted the right job! Oh I miss what bed bath and beyond was a long time ago when it was strong and great people cared! I got told I was being let go over the phone while visiting my family ! Didn’t get to say my goodbyes never saw the customers that I built up for years it just ended on a phone call! My heart goes out to all of you! Keep the faith they can’t take that!
