There are two consecutive recalls to replace the U502 Explorer within one year. I has the toe links replaced then 3-6 months later I got another stating the replacements were also bad. I was told the parts would be available 7/22, then 11/22 and finally 2/23. Still have not heard if the parts are available, but I did get another recall notice for the rear toe links.

This is not the first time in recent history that Ford recalled a recall. A few years back, there was a recall on defective door latches that covered several vehicle lines including Fusion and Escape. Some of the vehicles were repaired with service parts that had the same potential defect as the original parts, so Ford had to recall the vehicles a second time.
