Esther Crawford. Muskaholic, fangirl, dedicating her life to any folly her supreme leader would scheme. Well, she got laid off. Let this be a lesson in cynicism. The corporate world doesn't care about individuals, it's here to generate more wealth for the already wealthy. Cisco, Twitter, AWS, Google are all made from the same mold. Don't gobble up Fran's crocodile tears. They know they don't have to lay off anybody. They do it though because the market demands sacrificial lambs.

Twitter has fired, what, 80% now? That should be a lesson.
Crawford wasn't technical. She was more of a self promoter and frequent meeting attender. Provided no real value. Exactly the kind of person Musk targets for cleanup.
Musk is laser focused on culling these types of people and focusing rewards on technical contributors who move the needle. Cisco would benefit from a similar approach.
Anyone who works for that raging jackwagon deserves what they get.
They know they don't have to lay off anybody.
Static analysis says they need to fire a large number of people.
"she does not work for cisco, why put that?"
It's called an analogy. If you're convinced Cisco's incapable of doing something similar, you've got another thing coming.
she does not work for cisco, why put that here?
While I agree with the sentiment, and that company loyalty is a dated idea, entire thing reeks of being staged.
She probably knew she was getting fired. The picture of her sleeping on the floor is ridiculous. Who took it? And ya’ll are just eating it up.
