Well what you don't know is that all the ruthless production rig consultants will be gone to. They don't need all those guys and don't want them neither.
I personally did not have any CHK stock. Mine was all Mutual Funds. So...., the Bankruptcy did not effect me.
Also, most of people laid off were CHK, but there were a few Old WildHorse employees as well. Young and old.
BV leaders better save that severance for legal team when you get served in couple months. Looking forward to seeing DT KM and DL on stand!!!!
What about the poor sad sacks that are d-mb enough to stick around and get nothing when the company is sold this fall?

It is phenomenal package. I for one and very happy. Many of us were at retirement age, so the timing is Great!
What happens in the field will affect corporate next. Support teams will be next. With less activity and acreage the Company will not need all the extra resources and support to operate so expect layoffs immediately after the deal is signed and the asset is exited.
