When GM's European operations, which had lost big money for 20 years, was sold, the new owners made good profits from the first year.
Just shows that bad management can be a drag on profits.
If they do sell more pieces of the company, whoever buys them will probably make a lot of money.
I’m honestly surprised this didn’t happen two years ago. Sad to say that I would never recommend my kids, now in college, to work for GM or the auto industry in general.

For these who doubt the demise of GMs future - where were the news regarding layoffs before they happened? Oh yes, MB announced month before that there were not going to be ANY....and then they few days after, they did happen.

@OP+1lqzBwoB you are not the first to predict GM disintegration. I was looking for any smoking signals (articles) - there are none. However, many in the management chain in GM would agree with your prediction.
Name a single source for GM having the intention of selling a brand.
Where's the article backing Barra's retirement?
Show a source indicating that GM will be bought out at any time, let alone 2026.
