Instead of shipping merchandise to stores via an LTL shipper, the Georgia warehouse has been sending upwards of 700 cartons through FedEx to multiple stores. At a minimum of $5 a box it's costing a small fortune to do this. Yet there's no money for severance.

I don't think store closing signs were an accidentally .. I think all stores BBB and BABY were sent and supposedly you will get a call tag to return them . I think they want every store to have then in the back in case they do another round closures .
They sent us Store Closing signs "accidentally", but told us not to throw them away. They were sent FEDEX EXPRESS SATURDAY DELIVERY!!!! One of the boxes was at least 20lbs.
Such a HUGE WASTE OF $$$$$
We're going through liquidation and this week so far we received almost 500 cartons and it's all marked down to 40%
Do you suppose that FEDEX is getting paid?
600 cartons this week on fed ex. driver was remarking how nobody does it this way because it’s too expensive. LOL, nobody except BBB!
Bad decisions have been happening for years and now that they are near bankrupt they stand out even more. Even the deal they made selling the bonds was a bad decision that will most likely push them right to CH7. They should have filed CH11 instead of making that deal. They would have had a better chance at a turnaround going that route. Don't get me wrong, nothing is turning around here but it was the wiser choice of the two they had and they even did that wrong. Think about it, the only thing making that deal will guarantee are the execs getting more money once the dust settles and BBB is history.
No freight in weeks and then yesterday our store gets 200 cartons through FedEx from the warehouse…so expensive. So many bad financial decisions still. Sad.
And then once we’re done receiving and putting it out will pay an associate to pull it and ship it to a customer
They could have put all of those cartons on pallets and saved a ton of money .
Like what has been said before, the people running this s show don’t have a clue.
Or 401k
