You can save 1 billion by laying off mary and top executives. Any way they dont work.
Assume avg cost to company of each employee is 200K. By letting 500 go, that’s 100 million , GM still needs to pull 1.9 Billion in savings to please Stock market otherwise no stock windfall for SLT.

Per an internal believable source, 500-1000 employees were terminated this round for poor performance. 2023 may see more such cuts is what was also anonymously shared with me.
do we need the real count of how many cuts? media saying 500? but i believe it might be more? are the cuts happening today and over this week?
