Do you think compensation will really be restored ?

Remember when SPP was 10% and then they cut it to 5% for many, many years? Salaries will only recover when Intel is forced to match the market and given that we're heading into a recession I think it will be many years. Maybe top achievers will get 3 to 5%, but the rank and file won't. Pat and ELT will of course continue to get paid obscenely.
Salary cuts also mean less severance pay if you get laid off down the road.
No. It is just a desperate try to stop talent leaving.
No way. Pat is big liar and fraud.
Ask yourself: why in the FAK would I believe anything that comes tumbling out of Pat’s Jesus li---r?
If he said the sun would rise tomorrow in the east, I’d be dialing-up John Smith to get my affairs settled post-haste.
You forgot the clueless CPO who wrote a paper for WEF on the very topic.
sure. if things go well over the next 2 years, there is a chance it will be restored then.
He-l no! They keep lying and are in denial AND out of touch.
Proverbs 11:4 Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
Yes, because reducing the dividend alone saves $4B while the salary cuts were $500M.
The salary cuts were an ill conceived move made by an arrogant ceo and an inexperienced cfo. I imagine the salary cuts needed board approval. If so, the board should have rejected this proposal and asked for a dividend cut.
Can we please get a ceo who can actually get the basics right?
I think so
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of things are 'reimagined' to cost Intel less though
