I would say the vendors became less and less enthused over dealing with BBBY since at least the MT introduction. I cannot blame them: they have people to pay as well. So they have a right to be leery about accepting anything.

Now the only cashier in the front who also is covering self check out has to process rtvs and price them for as is.
Who the heck is running this business…

When we send RTV's back to vendors, they used to refund the cost to the company. Now, since we OWE all vendors money (the opposite), why would they refund us? They would just keep the return and say "thanks" basically.

Once upon a time we had clout! Every vendor wanted in our stores. We set our own terms. The tables have turned. Now they say what we do with returns and sending them back for credit is no more!

Not all of them changed to MOS. A lot of them changed to D&D.

Cost to send it back and vendors have changed a lot of agreements because of payment terms.
