"They are trying to avoid a class-action lawsuit for laying off people after two quarters of record profits"

Laying people off for that isn't what they should be worried about. It's allegedly violating the law in other ways.

I work for a government enforcement agency. Considering I do have a personal reason to be involved I had to request permission to move forward. I was granted that permission as well as political coverage last Friday.

We are still going to wait another week to see if Cisco corrects "errors" made.

If not, then we begin.

No, this is not a larp as my comments have been called in the past. Cisco knows who I am.

Agree it is greed. All for a short term stock again. And it is working, the analysts are buying it. Execs sit in their 10M dollar homes telling people how hard things are! Employees, just watch the check-ins!

  • Watch the Exec party for Best Place To Work during the last layoff.
  • Watch Kelly retiring to go "invest all her money".
  • Watch them say how it isn't safe to travel and then Execs go party in Hawaii with the top 1% of Sales.
  • Watch Execs boast about their trip to Switzerland to run shoulders other high class folks and how nice the digs were.
  • They say how innovation is important while cutting innovation efforts. ChatGPT just ran circles around them!
  • They treat laid off employees poorly while saying they are helping them find a new role.

OMG!

Folks, Cisco likely posts stupid stuff like this all the time to discredit thelayoff.com. Ignore it. They are trying to avoid a class-action lawsuit for laying off people after two quarters of record profits. The bottom line is greed by the Execs. They are being dishonest with their shareholders about moving people when they are really cutting costs. Even people in security were cut! They are lying and their analysts are buying it!
