Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

Lumen hit the 3 handle

I stated a few months ago this stock would hit the 4 handle but has now overachieved and the stock has a 3 handle.

Is the greasy HR guy still around with the hair gel from the 90’s?

What about Ed the Opossum overseeing sales.

How about the lady in Milwaukee who couldn’t sell coats in the North Pole?

I truly feel sorry for 90% of the employees at Lumen/CenturyLink

The Fat Lady is now singing!

Funny how people who are still employed visit a layoff website with such due diligence! Yes man!!! Go team go! Ba-f!

Really Funny why someone whom left comes back to see what is happening with Lumen and its employees.
Get a life and don't come back

Every story I read are all about how Lumen failed as company.
Why are you still here? Shouldn't you all be writing happy thoughts from your greener pasture.

They haven't fired the top levels of IT management yet, so there isn't any hope.

The destroy the company id--ts are firmly in charge, and making money all the way down.

Kate can only win if she takes extreme measures ... and there is no sign of that.

Lumen is too late to the game. Others have already placed fiber in the local markets. When the coppers dead then Lumen is dead. The only thing left to stand will be their long haul fiber. And a few employees to maintain it. RIP

They act like they are adding new fiber, but they are just moving fiber from one network to another. Been years since I seen the company add any new fiber. How could they?

The problem is that there is no dam fiber in 90 percent of the areas. Sure a couple government or large corporations hook up every 6 months or so. The contractors need to have the entire state just to keep 4 fiber splicers busy. No fiber work man. They keep promising but haven’t begun

“You have to ki-l copper and convert all technicians to become fiber technicians.
Anyone who defies the change needs to be all fired without vssp or unemployment benefits.”

What a mo--nic comment from a know nothing. All the copper technicians already are fiber technicians and significantly more proficient at it than premise techs or contractors. That’s a simple fact.

Ha! "Lumen stock cannot go up until copper dies". Really?! Charter stock $374.81, Apollo Global (BrightSpeed) $70.87, Verizon $38.74, heck even the lowest AT&T is at $19.74 and still beating Lumen at $3.56. Lumen Copper is generating revenue. If they sell that off (which they will), do you really think the stock will blast off? Above $7?, Above $10? You need money to place fiber. You need investors to help obtain that money. Stopping the dividend, selling off your copper and assets and halting fiber placement until you reset the company +culture and wokeness is not attractive. There is no future at Lumen. The CEO left, the dividend halted, not making quarterly revenue at expected levels. Up next is Chapter 11.

This is quite possibly the best question ever?!

“Is the greasy HR guy still around with the hair gel from the 90’s! “

Whoever wrote that? Classic!

This Company was destroyed a long time ago and has declined ever since.

Fiber is 19% of the revenue and copper is over 70%. Copper will continue to decline but the fiber is all speculation because the 5G home service will be the competitors and the investors are not sure what will win. Maybe there is room for both but the 5G will be much cheaper that FTTH
