Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

STI...more or less this year?

Just wondering, did you get more or less for your STI? No need to say the amount.

Managers were asked to give bad reviews about employees. Use that to provide low STI and then tell the employee you did not miss anything. Remember this is one of the company that was saved with tax payers money in 2008 and government reaped the benefits. Now the management want to do the opposite they want to enjoy the benefits. Why do you think they spun off Corebridge financial.

Less. insulting after the past year of faulty system migrations and huge system crashes that caused major work stoppages in several claims and underwriting departments. Oh, but hey they can always blame the adjusters and underwriters for the damage because at the end of the day "underwriters and adjusters are ultimately responsible for their files.". Period. Even for things they have zero control of. Unethical and ridiculous.

They want employees to leave without paying severance. Then they will run around and try to hire or backfill a contractor, usually paying much more than the incumbent who leaves. Ought to be fun.

You mean the executive “leadership”, the board, and the “stakeholders” must be made paid first and foremost.

Forget the disposable workers.
