Opportunity for Cisco to cut costs. Lots of desperate H1-B visa Sw developers available in market from Google, Amazon, Meta etc. Well trained and very motivated and lot less expensive.

Sadly, these Indian managers at Cisco are doing everything they can to keep their H1B buddies who are reporting under them from getting deported. That include getting rid of all the hard working US citizens first to save their friends. Ashamed really but that's Cisco for ya.
send 'em packin. totally useless.

Motivated may be, well trained is debatable but I will give you that. Less expensive is not true. There are two types of H1-B: (1) contractors from one of the out sourcing vendors, and (2) H-1B FTE. We do not need more type 1, CISCO has plenty of those, and you can get more if you have short-term $$ For (2), they are not cheap at all, and they often felt that they are at top of the software world skills wise, and they will ditch CISCO as soon as market is better. They think they were good so they got in those companies in the first places. So, No, stay away if I were you.
go home, usa is full, we don't want u here. fix ur shyt h00le country.
They will ditch Cisco once the market picks up and swallow all the joining bonus and RSU
Better Cisco hold onto GC and citizens and please them to stay longer time
