Will it go into the summer

Look, some of us have been employed by bbb for 20 plus years. I’m staying now till I get layed off. I know there won’t be a severance but I’ll go into retirement with a few months of unemployment at least.
Some people need to keep their insurance for as long as possible or they need to utilize their insurance while they have it.
Asking why people are staying at this point is the same as asking why some people stayed on the deck of the Titanic as it was sinking. They didn't want to succumb to the inevitable and wanted to wait as long as they could before freezing to death.
With that said, the "waves" are not going to stop. The end of the story here is BBB will not be around much longer. Stop worrying about waves and start setting up your lifeboat. From here on out if you are in any wave you will not get any severance. Just ask those who were cut two weeks ago.
"Why in the world are you people still working for this company? Boggles the mind. Are you all masochists? My God."
Because SOME of them wouldn't mind a break for a bit on unemployment. SOME states pay decent unemployment. Not everyone is as "smart/d-mb" as you.
No more waves, no more severance pay and no more full timers. Working here going forward is like doing a circus act without a safety net. Stay at your own risk, stay for a steady pay but don't stay job security. Hedge Funds now owns this company.
I'm a Sup so I'm sticking around because I'm still getting a paycheck to sit around

I’m in a b+volume store and we let go 2 of our full timers. We now only have 4 managers/supervisors at full time. It’s going to be tough.
Tea!!!!!
Just a heads up to you out there, I'm a full timer that's being let go on the 25th. That being said, not all full time are being let go if your in a reclassified b or higher volume. So I'd imagine that they will be coming after you next as well as a few supervisors. They will want all part time going forward as not having to give out unnecessary benefits. Gotta pay all of those chiefs up top.
Sure the freight they are sending out is the leftover junk left in the warehouses that have closed and the already closing stores. Your probably not going to see the good stuff if any for a while.
Good luck everyone, time is definitely not on your side.
