Raises

How are the raises this year? Above inflation? I haven’t had my review yet.

I still laff at OXY’s employees who did nothing and complain a couple of years ago about how bad the company was managed and how the CEO was worthless. Truth be known the company would be so much better off today if the majority of the bitchers had left or been terminated. Ungrateful losers..

40 years of raises and I never had one indexed to inflation. I sat down one day and plotted out my salary vs year and the conclusion was obvious. Unless I changed companies or received a substantial promotion, the raise was 3% per year. Can draw a straight line though the data...uncanny.
Raises and bonuses are employee specific. Never took too much notice of coffee station gossip. When you do your review, all will be known....

They are still paying off the families of those who lost their lives working for Oxy, which numbers in the hundreds, so your selfish raise entitlement will have to wait until the blood money is paid.

I saw your review. You may have to give some money back. But you still have a job because workers are hard to find these days.

Raises will be 0-4%. Don’t expect to keep up with inflation.

No wage change since April last year. Annual inflation rate running at around 6.5%. Anticipate being informed week of March 6th.

Wages were already adjusted to inflation so you will get standard raises this time around.
