University of Phoenix leads the pack in the number of Borrower Defense to Repayment claims. In 2020 the number was already at 21,000. Chances are that the number is significantly higher in 2023. Some of these cases will settled if Sweet v Cardona is settled, which is currently in the 9th Circuit Court.
