Confused

If we're getting acquired why are they still so secret about our severance?

Maybe wave 4 should refuse to open there stores until the severance issue has been worked out. It’s your only negotiating power left.

What's stopping seasoned employees who are being laid off, who have keys to the building, from making their own severance package with merchandise out the backdoor? The longer they are in the dark the more frustrated they become, and more drastic their reaction.

The severance after taxes is not much to write home about. Spend your valuable time worrying about health insurance and another job

There will be no acquisition. Only a company as blatantly s tupid as BBB would buy BBB. Any talk of that nature are memers that don't even know their stock will be worthless quite soon. Even with the money they got with the bond deal they still have not paid off a significant chunk of what they owe.

Bee and Willow dinnerware will be the saving grace of this company!

Lazy employees???? Let’s see how “lazy” you think we were, when complex receiving., cip, and rtv issues arise and ur store is running on 300 hrs.
As for customers they’ve given up on us, when they’ve come in time and time again only to find no folex, perfect glass. Scrub daddy, coffee syrups, 10 different types of can openers, and instead a stack of our table 7 in 1 servers that you can’t tell what it is from the picture on the box, and a bee and willow dinnerware!

Customers do love us! We will survive once we cut all the lazy employees dragging us down.

It was such a waste of time. Streamlining this, focusing on that but never any real information on how those things affect the stores.

There was no talk of an acquisition in the town hall meeting, only the leaders talking about how they’ve had to make uncomfortable decisions and that they’ll probably make more. Also a bunch of feel good (made up) stories about how the consumer loves BBB and wants it to survive. Basically an hour I’ll never get back.

The company will never be upfront to store level employees and management about any M & A and bankruptcy do to legal reason. We will all find out on a press release. After a press release we may get any additional information but don’t count on that with this side show clowns running the place.

Again, I really think you should question any M and A things you are hearing on reddit , and it would not shock me to find out these are memer comments again. Due diligence.
There were also commenters on Yahoo forums yesterday calling BBBY employees "old airheaded women" and one said that she'd be happy to have you come over and clean her pool. Don't be a tool for these types, long or short. Wait for official news.

There's no secret. Recently laid off associates have confirmed that there is no longer any offer of severance payments. They can no longer afford it.

No mention of acquisition by company but with all the rumors I'm just so confused.
