Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

NCR Hospitality lost its President

  1. Izzo was just announced as leaving NCR. No mention of a replacement.

What’s that mean for the Hospitality brand? All of it going overseas?

It’s a IBM shop fellas. They boot out or shoo away folks that are not from the IBM clad. See Sajan for eg. How on earth is he a VP??

Hospitality will be folded back into Retail once again. Has been in and out several times over the years.

I had left NCR in 2020 and had detailed discussion with Izzo at that time. I did find him to be a good person, but I felt that he just did not understand ground realities that NCR hospitality faced, and thus his plans were not going to work. The introduction of Silver last year (once again) in hospitality is a clear example. So most likely hospitality results are going to be self evident in March.

I wonder how that ‘running the x’ plan is going. so many execs are dropping like flies, the writing is on the wall

He was the last surviving good leader- fair, ethical, smart,, I’m 100% he only stuck around for as long as he did for the employees in his org. Decent guy, hope it was on his own terms and not an ouster

All these big time execs (haha) leaving should serve as proof to the downward spiral of the company. If you don't want to be the one turning out the lights get your resume out now.
