Everybody is quick to badmouth Xerox, but with all the layoffs that are happening in nearly every industry, we are still standing strong. I also believe there'll be no major announcements in the near future. Unlike many of you, despite everything else, I like the fact that I don't have to look for a new job while the job market is as bad as it is.

Everything was outsourced. What layoff would get reported? The majority of the company works for other companies that are "support."
D-mbest post of the year and it’s only February!
I think Xerox dropped below 20k employees recently
i believe it is the attrition phase currently....xerox can no longer afford severance pay....
They are bleeding money...
AI4SD will fix everything.....HAHAHAHAHAHA
Lot’s of empty offices in the world of Xerox ….where did all the people go ?
“with all the layoffs that are happening in nearly every industry…”
517 000 jobs added In January. What are you talking about? Great idea to post your BS here for vetting prior to serving it up to customers. Customers won’t challenge you on it… they’ll just nod along, wait for you to run out of air and sign with anyone else.
Nothing but major hiring going on. Keep crying ex jaded lovers! I love your salty tears.
Lol. This is a hilarious post. Xerox MO is to lay off consistently for decades and nothing left to purge.
No major job cuts in “near” future? That’s hilarious! Xerox is already cut to the bone! If it was a car it’d just be a frame and a steering wheel and couple milk crates for seats! What else can it cut and still be theoretically operational?
It’s like saying Q4 numbers were good because of robust demand… that demand was created by 3/4s of back orders! Try serving that up on Mad Money.
What a sham. If you want to stay at xerox because of who knows why that’s fantastic. But unless you’re comparing it to Bed Bath & Beyond or Blockbuster don’t insult intelligences by trying to convince people xerox is a sustainable business. Save your 2nd hand SPIN selling skills to flip a Vice-versaLink box.
Do yourself a favor and find another job!
After 33 years and a management culture that views you as a malcontent if you speak up I found a MUCH better job making 30% more than I was making at XRX. There is life after XRX and the grass is much greener on the other side.
Hard to has mass layoffs where this no mass to the company.
Well...I'm not so sure about "standing strong" The structure holding this place up is near collapse. Stocks are tanked and in the 4th quarter earnings call it mentioned "Flat to lower revenue for 2023. Another fancy way of saying layoffs are still on the table.
It's a tempory stay of execution...only the Tech market is bad...the rest of it is in an upswing...It would mean changing career paths but doable.
Well, they've had a head start on that by several years.....
Just wait until the shareholders come calling.
Plenty of opportunities in U.S.
