Barra's 2021 compensation broke down as follows:
• $2.1 million in salary
• $14.6 million in stock awards
• $4 million in option awards
• Nearly $7.6 million in incentive plan compensation
• $873,075 in other payments

Certain none of these folks lost any sleep while everyone has been under such stress about taking the package and the risks of losing their lifelong jobs. Surely many felt they would have gotten the ax if they didn't take it. Dedication doesn't get you anything, so think of this when you are in the customer's seat when purchasing your next vehicle !

Poor folks also at the assembly plants as well as engineering. Let's face it, it's executive leadership that everyone needs to be bitter at and not each other.

OP: The executives make too much money while they constantly force chaos into the lives of people who have been given much less means to afford it. Here is information backing up my statement.

GM Social Media Team: You, the anonymous person on the layoff board, are lazy and therefore worthless. The executives are not to blame for the pain that GM brings into people's lives because of the way it's run.

I am the average employee at GM. Not the janitor.
MTB makes 25,000% more per year than I do.
Is she doing 25,000% more work than I am?
No. There aren't enough hours in the day.

What did we learn from this post? Nothing other than the fact that people will blame all of their problems on those in authority without taking any personal responsibility.

Comparing MB's salary with your own is a futile endeavor. Are you running a global company or are you sh!tposting on a message board while GM pays you???
