Yes, 2 days back in office. Sharing cubicle and office equipment with another person. To be remote for over a year, then, told to "clean out your office space because we're officially remote indefinitely", and now, told, "your hybrid and you share space with another" is unacceptable. I do not blame workers for being miserable and unfriendly at the office. Morale is extremely low. It is a very hostile environment, overall. Cannot wait to give my notice and leave this place forever.

Yes, the return to work added insult to injury. It doesn’t make sense to time the return to work to coincide with the layoffs, when morale has already taken a huge blow. GA asked some full time remote departments to move out of their cubicles prior to the layoff, with the assumption being that they were permanently remote. These employees were then told they had to return to work… and now share a cubicle!!! It has been suggested that GA is trying to get people to quit, but how can we afford to lose more people? I’m fine with going into the office, but it’s the flip flopping that is infuriating. Many people were making plans to move or visit family given their full time remote status. It is ridiculously expensive to live in CA now and especially San Diego, so I can’t blame those who were thinking of relocating to a cheaper area.

My understanding is it's back to the office on a hybrid schedule - 2 days a week.

If you’re complaining about having to go to work..you should just quit anyway.

If they want us back in office full time, then please lay me off now so I can get a severance at least. Better that then me quitting anyways and not getting squat!

Seems as if they want their employees as miserable as possible, and to quit!
