Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Any truth to this?

It's to operate lean with as little people as possible. Most cuts will be at leads level so less managers and supervisors to manage across various groups. Trim out the lazy managers and leads. Goal is to remove dead weight who comes in whenever it suits them or who does as little as possibe (we all know who those people are in our groups). More and stricter rules will be implemented and enforced to force people to quit. Less chiefs and less Indians to take on heavy workloads.

I found this at @jozw+1lrnTvMX. Is any of this true?

When is this happening I still see a ton of TM's doing nothing taking 6 hours to make an order and the rest on breaks.

Correct. Most stores will have 2 buyers and some stores an ATL will act as an extra buyer but most stores will also only be operating with 1 ATL so any time an ATL leaves they won't be replaced if the team has 2. Search Cornerstone and SharePoint for the training. It's already begun.

Buyers and ATL's will not be replaced as they quit or get separated. It's part of project Sriracha. Many HR and regional jobs have also been "restructured" so that several candidates had to apply for one opening and the rest had to move, be demoted or quit.

Sounds a little made up and generic , we don’t have anything called the leads level, for starters
