Each day the network and ops are down increases the odds of bankruptcy. It’s really sad that incompetent leadership and insane and biased focus on diversity goals over all else has done to this company.

It's now the week of 4/17 - 4/21. I haven't heard any news regarding RIF.

When will the security event be resolved?
What is the network issue? Or do you mean security incident?
@6gje+1lYcEh0B, that's possible but I am more worried if this incident reveals more functions that are not necessary or critical to company hence increase the wfr percentage.
Now I start wondering whether the original RIF plan would be impacted by this network incident. It might need to be delayed to avoid adding more instability to the company.
Where is executive management in all of this? Silent
can they still send the salary without the network?
If history is any indication, any actions that effect supply and demand (for 22TB HDDs for example) usually lead to cost increases. Last I checked Seagate doesn’t have any.
Layoffs started in November 2022, another in January and then a push for people to leave voluntarily in February and March. We have already lost over 5k employees.
First layoff?
Well, the 1st layoff is going to happen in 4/17 - 4/21. I would expect the network issue must be fixed then.
