My understanding is that SMRA will be significantly scaled back. I have heard from a director that retail management will be reduced. Store managers will manage multiple locations and each SMRA section will have one or two floating RAMs.

I just came out of a meeting with my Regional Director. Someone asked about these changes. Nothing in the works. All the new stores that have opened this year have been staffed with a Retail Store Manager. The early warning sign is always a hiring freeze. There has been no hiring freezes and no slowdown in new COR stores in SMRA.
SMRA manager training sessions that were recently scheduled are now cancelled. Please pay me to leave this place behind already. What a mistake to have signed up for this sh-t show.
What a year guys, great move with better structure to shape this a better company than ever.

Considering the distance between some of these stores, if that's true, then you'll have a more than a few RSMs looking different jobs. It's hard enough managing one store right now as it is in some areas.
By that logic, provide your source on what you’re saying is true. People completely make sh-t up on this site. There are zero planned changes on the Consumer team. And I would know. I can’t speak for others, but if you’re on the Consumer team, there is nothing planned or being planned.

SMRA leadership has a call scheduled Tuesday so this is starting to add up. I would expect Top 100 cuts before SMRA
