We just got the super vague email about the layoff within multifamily division. Does anyone have any actual details about this?

I just got word that it was 40 people laid off, and there are more layoffs to come, specifically in SF....
is it because the economy or the project gets cut or what? Any guess
Just confirmed. 11 people total. Mostly senior managers and above.
