Come on now. All this “woke”, politics, gender, race, etc. is missing the point. Just treat everyone the way you want to be treated. Just be fair, just be nice, just be kind.
Comment on "please define woke" was not deleted, but all responses to it were. Seems like pro-woke responses are ok. Comments that indicate how woke policies are causing layoffs are deleted.
The best thing NCR can do ( outside of fixing their products/innovation ) is staying out of DC politics and create a neutral work zone that does not favor one ideology or party over the other.

So let me ask this why would we want to put anyone on the advisory committee to the President as NCR has outsourced most of the internal jobs overseas. Still an ongoing process at the moment. I get we need a global presence but really I see a slow death here. But to put this guy as a advisor was like the slap to those who have lost and now the rest of you.
The first commentor is correct. Any post not having to do with layoffs can and usually is deleted by the moderators. I posted a sarcastic post suggesting readers send our amazingly incompetent CEO a holiday card with his home address and poof it was gone in a few hours.
Not a company owned site, NCR has no influence over it any more than any of us.
Site moderators are the ones deleting posts for rule violations (no talk about religion, ethinicity, or politics is allowed).
My 2 cents why threads like this get nuked by site mods:
Once we start talking about wokeness, at somepoint it turns to talk about one or two ethnic groups.
Then it get's heated.
Then the back and forth starts.
Thread turns into a cesspool of hate.
I think it's great to see all the people that are not on board with wokeness. Wokeness is not really about fairness, it's a ploy for control of hiring and promotions and to cater to particular groups for votes in elections. However, most people see through it and despise pronouns etc...Most people are not racist/bigots and favor those aligned with similar values on a personal level and don't care what their fellow employees do in personal time. The best thing NCR can do ( outside of fixing their products/innovation ) is staying out of DC politics and create a neutral work zone that does not favor one ideology or party over the other. Political trends, ESG, and social issues should not be a topic in the workplace. It's inappropriate. The only goal that should matter in a company is the COMPANY and being successful. The other noise is just that, noise and divides people and the country. We should never allow boardroom elites or their mouthpieces ever tell us how to think or behave. We are here to play a role in the company's success and that should be the only thing that really matters.
