You have to be able to purchase quality products before you can put them on your shelves.
Higher-thread-count sheets are made with finer (thinner) yarns. The more yarns that fit into a square inch, the smoother, denser, and more durable the fabric.
I did not write this. Neither did MT an a training video. It was on a training video prior to MT. Probably one of those Abbotsford, BC ones.

Yeah, ultra soft jersey fabric doesn't stand up to washing. We had a single brand with that in 2019 and it was not ours. Yet folks always seemed to think the high thread counts were for softness, and they are more related to durability.
