I used to make maximum efforts because I wanted to stay here for a long time, but now I think that a layoff would be a blessing for me. Why? Because I think that in any case those who are laid off will be better off than those who stay here in an atmosphere worse than ever.

I still can't believe they have a 2% merit program.
Putting in 100% or more to receive 2% ROI isn’t a winning career strategy.
As we used to say "This is the GE way" Re-org...re-org... cut costs...cut costs.. Handcuff your Strategic Bets, hire non-technical leaders, have individual contributors working on 40-50% of non-project oriented "How" Goals and then buy innovation. Oh by the way MDT has always bought their innovation.
