I have heard that there will be one final round of layoffs this week before the end of the month and fiscal year.
It has been a tough year for any GT employee.

Seriously why do people stay? Why do people apply for jobs at Gainwell? Are they desperate? Do they even bother to do a 5 minute search about the company?
I really can’t believe the leadership is allowed to stay. It is absolutely mind blowing to me that the ceo has not been fired for his poor attempt at running the company. Fired people by the hundreds because he can. And he doesn’t even have to announce it to anyone. Doesn’t even bother to tell the workforce that there will be layoffs or why. Instead he tells us in town hall meetings how successful we are. How we are strong. What a joke for a leader. Tells the workforce nothing but lies. We are all just a number.
I personally am leaving. I see no reason to work for a leader like that or stay in a company that I need to stress each day that I may be laid off. I’m interviewing now. Hoping to be out soon.
If any of the people at Gainwell are smart at all they will do the same.
Veritas will sell Gainwell. It’s a clear formula that they follow. It’s at the expense of the worker. They are NOT going to take them public they are going to sell.
Everyone. And I mean everyone working at Gainwell should be concerned for their job.
The writing is on the wall. Every account is a wreck. SLAs that can’t be met. Agreements that were made in haste and without thinking through if they can actually be accomplished. It’s poor leadership at its finest.
So many failed DE initiatives that cost millions of dollars.
Veritas has no choice but to turn the company over. Keeping them would just mean bleeding more money. At this point leadership has proven that their initiatives didn’t work. So the alternative is to layoff. Wait to show some better financials because of the layoffs. Them sell before reality sets in and your failures become evident again.
A sale is on the horizon. Veritas has allowed the leaders to leave them no choice but to sell.
And after the sale more turmoil. More layoffs and restructuring as the new owner builds it their way.
It’s a sinking ship.
Not sell but Veritas wants to take them public.
Why do people stay with this company? Constant threat of layoff. Extremely poor leadership. Upcoming sale. Constant turmoil. So many failed initiatives. I have been with them since Gainwell became a company and it has been nothing but constant turmoil and failure for over 2 years. I’m in amazement that people stay.
Anything is possible with this seemingly failed experiment of a company.
Yes Veritas is going to sell Gainwell.
What am I seeing here, a pending sale? Are you saying Veritas is looking to sell off Gainwell?
A pending sale? Do tell.
Had not heard about Hilton but yeah no longer on leadership page. I do see there's a guy on there who actually owns a tie. How the heck did he slip through the cracks?
I don’t think so. The turmoil is going to continue with a pending sale and with Hilton retiring and having 80% of the workforce reporting to him.
There will be more work force reductions.
So technically if we survive this last Layoff; we are in the coast is clear zone
