But macys is quite about it all ya know why? its a image company not a truth teller or transparent to employees or customers ... dirty dirty dirty company !
This is one way that Macys can afford to do register upgrades. Yes this has happened in certain sites so far and rumor is that most stores will get newer registers this year. Not sure the mix or if all registers will be replaced but heard from another store Associate who just went through this recently.
So… these are the results you get for paying everyone more than $15/hour minimum. Who cares how much they will pay you an hour since they cut your hours to make you actually make the same or less than before the COVID Shut Down!! And you can’t pick up shifts because they are being deleted!!! The managers can’t even be honest with us about this!

Macy's has made several announcements pertaining to restructure in certain areas of business and store closures . This has also included new store openings, stand alone, Bloomingdale's locations. Macy's continues to communicate any and all changes that impact employees in a prompt manner. Due to many State employment laws these communications are reported as well, therefore, open to the public and press
