You talk about 3M winning. Our shareholders aren't winning as our stock is at 10 year lows. Our customers aren't winning as our sales are growing much slower than the economy. Our employees aren't winning as there are now 10,000 fewer 3Mers. My question is this: Exactly which 3M stakeholders are winning and how exactly are they winning?

If enough of us ask the question this way, it might get this ridiculous 'winning' line out of their mouths.

Yes, this site is to discuss layoffs topics... but we can't forget that many colleagues also have 3M stocks in their retirement portfolio and are just hoping the price goes up to sell at a better price (even if it is at a loss).

I do not owe stocks (were too expensive to buy for me as my salary is way below the average 3Mer). However, I feel their pain... investing for a nice retirement just to see that today that investment is worth 10%, 20%, 30% less and that everyday you go to work with the "layoff" ball falling down at any time... that should be horrible!

Like the post above the site is for layoffs, Everyone complaining about 3M but there is people lives involved which some come to this site for possible answers.

Are you not turning into everything you are complaining about?

Have some compassion for the ones that have been through this or possibly will be in the future and looking for true information.

This site is meant to discuss layoffs. Are you an employee or just some random stock trader? Lets hear some relevant layoff info instead of focusing on stock pricing. Save that shorting bs for stocktwits. Gets old seeing all these type of posts. Anyone who has lost their job doesn't know who anyone on the board is yet alone communicates to that level so why are you even talking said nonsense?
