How is the company getting away with forcing carman to work 16 hours sometimes 5 days In a row? Then getting on the news and talking about how they are doing every thing they can to run trains safely. Try inspecting a train on your fifth forced double! There’s no way you’re not missing something. On top of that our contract says forced ot should be for emergency situations only. The emergency is that they furloughed all the employees 3 years ago. Some points are using students with less than 3 weeks of training in the yard to inspect outbound trains. If that’s not negligent I don’t know what is.

Just last year you were whining about not making enough money. Suck it up dude. Make that money and get out early.
Why are you still workin there yet crying about it? Is your skill level that low you can’t go anywhere else? It’s 2023, there’s actually jobs out there that pay better than the railroad lol. I don’t get it why y’all cry and complain but don’t change anything… it’s like sitting in a broken seat at the movies and you refuse to move to another seat 😂
The Carrier claims anything that stops there operation is an emergency (no employees to perform the work) and arbitration boards have up held this position many times. BS decision, but within the agreement.
Dont worry, the SAT team blitzes will bring everything in order.
Since OT can only be forced due to an emergency, then the fact that NS has been using forced OT since PSR was implemented is proof that PSR is causing a continuous state of emergency.
Shaw : “We have an app”. No need for over regulation then. Good to go! No “data” that supports that one man crews are unsafe either. Oh, ok. Everybody should feel better now, right ?
Another thing get the rest of your workers together and talk to a labor lawyer and sue your union for colluding with company and not protecting your rights under the contract
Instead of whining about it here why not call the news station that ran the story of them and tell them whats really going on? Otherwise it's just their word out there and not the workers.
I bet your bringing home nice money thou
