Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Woke NCR culture a red flag

The wokeness of NCR seems to be getting worse. CEO doing cringy town halls and broadcasting on adding more women in the workplace and board members. How about finding the best and brightest to lead your organization and focusing on fixing NCR and addressing the issues that exist? People are tired of wokeness and just want to be in a workplace that treats all equally and fair. Also, it is a distraction and the companies need to focus on the market, their product, and how to become stronger and employee retention.

What do you mean that NCR is "woke"? What does that even mean?

So true the comments, leadership laughing off any serious questions during town hall meetings. Going woke as marketing strategie. Instead of the women’s day why not focus on equal pay between men and women.
Cannot even do a proper company sales pitch. Laughable really

That’s hayford! He’s a liberal that wants get a reputation of evolving a company while paying cr-p wages. Maybe take a pay cut and quit all this woke mess and focus on the company and maybe it would run better! The ivory towers are totally out of sync with the field workstaff! A yoga session and what the new game room? While field techs are rode like horses! Oh and don’t dare say merry Christmas but happy Hanukkah was announced proudly!

There are many companies that have gone woke. Not a good move as far as I’m concerned but a lot of Corporate America nowadays have no backbone which is a fact. Way too many companies have bad leadership in 2023. There are a few decent ones left out there really wished I worked for one. Good luck to those who keep it real and actually have decency.

When NCR asked me to put my pronouns into workday is the day I decided to leave.
Best decision ever.

NCR moved to a “woke” City, that’s the direction they and many other corporations have gone. It pays off well ($$ politically) to be woke these days. What tax breaks did NCR receive in exchange for moving to Atlanta? Follow the money, a lot of these “woke” corporations are just going along with it cause it benefits their pockets.
