Thread regarding 3M layoffs

whats going on in bangor

is it right for a senior manager to treat a contingency worker better than a full time employee, the contingency worker has missed numerous days of work and also has left early in his shift and still is employed when the senior manager should let him go,, it is generally not ethical for a senior manager to treat a contingent worker better than a full-time employee if the contingent worker has a history of absenteeism and leaving early.

Full-time employees typically have more job security and often receive benefits that contingent workers do not, such as health insurance and paid time off. If a full-time employee with a good attendance record sees that a contingency worker with a poor attendance record is being treated better, it can create resentment and lower morale within the company.

There could be several reasons why the senior manager is keeping the contingency worker despite their poor attendance record. It's possible that the contingency worker has unique skills or knowledge that are difficult to replace, or that they have a personal relationship with the senior manager. Alternatively, the senior manager may not be aware of the contingency worker's attendance issues or may not have the authority to terminate their employment.

TTS has no real plan. Burning money on SAP, laying off employees, and using highly expensive consultants. No surprise.

Nepotism and favoritism is the root problem of why this company is failing. Ethics website is a sham and sends complaints to the local hr. Imagine your local hr having nepotism and favoritism. There's literally no corporate oversight in small town plants.

If the issue is important enough for you report it to the ethics line or website.
